⚖️ Weight on Other Planets
Your mass never changes — your weight does. See what a scale would show on each planet.
Results
- Weight on Mars
- 259.7 N
- Scale reading (Earth-kg equivalent)
- 26.482 kg
- Compared to Earth
- 37.8315% of Earth weight
How it works
Weight (N) = mass (kg) × surface gravity (m/s²)
Mass is the amount of matter in your body and stays the same everywhere. Weight is a force: gravity pulling that mass down. That is why the same person weighs less on the Moon and far more on Jupiter.
Assumptions: Uses mean surface gravity for each planet. Ignores rotation and altitude.
